Legend of Muaythai - Samart Payakaroon

For those who don't know what Muaythai is I'll kindly give you a brief introduction on it. Muaythai is also called by others as thaiboxing or the "Science of the 8 limps". Muaythai is a full contact sports which uses both our hands, elbow, legs and knees. Muaythai are unlike other martial arts as Muaythai attacks are not meant to score points but are meant to injure or knockout your opponent. The world sport council has recently rated Muaythai as the toughest ring sport in the world.

More information on Samart Payakaroon or Samart Tiptamai (Real Name). He was rated the best amongs all the other muaythai legends, for his intelligent movement, excellence counters, incredible skills and quick eye-sights. He hold 4 different Lumpini Stadiam titles: The Mini Flyweight (105 pounds) in 1980, Junior flyweight (108 pounds) in 1980, Junior bantamweight (115 pounds) in 1981 and Featherweight (116 pounds) in 1981.

Dominating the competition in thailand, he proceed to accomplish the WBC Super BantamWeight by defeating the former champion Lupe Pintor. Soon after in 1986, Samart successfully defended his WBC title against Juan Meza. The fight was rated one of the most beautiful fight in history. with his back against the rope and dodge 10 over punches in a row and in a single moment manage to knockout Juan Meza in a counter. He was one of the few who dared to face the terror of the ring and win.

But soon after in 1987, Samart lost his title to an Australian Boxer name Jeff Fenech, who is in a slightly different weight catagory. After losing, he continued his boxing career till 1994 which he announced his retirement in boxing. Samart payakaroon is currently now teaching Muaythai and giving Muaythai seminal around the world. His theory are " if the kick or punch is beautiful it ain't Muaythai " and " The best defences against an attack is not to be hit by it. "

Sorry I'm just ain't perfect...

I understand that every parent would want their kids to grow up according to plan and I'm sure everyone out there more or less has the feeling that our parent control certain espects of our life. I don't understand maybe it just because of me or I'm just not as good as I'm suppose to be. I hate it whenever my parent nags at me and when they kept saying "Why can't you be a normal person, living a normal lifestyle? why can't you just be like so and so..." I understand that it is their nature for them to care for us. But sometime certain boundary are not to be overstep and sometime I just wish that they would just leave me alone.

A highlight on Samart Payakaroon "Bruce Lee of Muaythai" and Former WBC Super BantamWeight Champion. Well-known for his incredible skills, intelligent movement and quick eye-sight. Stay tune again...

Update on UFC 81 : Breaking Point

Basically, I've no idea why Brock Lesnar manage to step into the Octogon against Former UFC World Heavy Weight Champion, Frank Mir. But since Mir accepted the contract against Lesner, Lesnar might have a chance to be the next UFC World Heavy Weight Champion.

A brief introduction on Frank Mir, he has a vast experience in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and is a fairly good striker with a fight record of 10-3-0 (Win-Lose-Draw). Most of his wins are achieved by submission. As for Brock Lesnar, his weight and westling skill are to his advantage. Brock Lesnar might prove to be a tough opponent for Frank Mir. Here is a video on Frank Mir preparing his fight against Lesnar.

Here is a pretty good highlight on Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Current Light Heavy Weight UFC Champion. No.1 Most Dangerous MMA fighter in Both UFC & Pride with crazy tactic and being one of the highest KO fighter in both UFC and Pride, his punch is calculated to worth 1800 pound / 818 KG of knockout impact. Fight Record : 26-6-0 (Win-Lose-Draw) Stay Tune...
