Tough Times Ahead...

Argh... God has gotta be making fun of me. This is the second time a scholarship has slip through my fingers. It was like so close and yet its gone. I'm total disappointed in myself. I've been like straight bad luck and nothing seems to be going smoothly. I'll be considering myself lucky that I wouldn't have waste money on fines or unwanted expenses.

I've lost a total of 5k worth of scholarship, the first scholarship was so close to me. All I needed was like 2 marks to hit the tresholds of the scholarship and yet I've miss it. Now, it would be my foolish mistake that I've made that cost me 2k worth of scholarship. Maybe it is me and my luck, but I know I've never been a lucky person.

I can only achieves with determination and hardship, 宝贝 and I has been thinking of taking the tango classes in QU for quite some time. We will be making our first trip down to QU tomorrow night to enquire and if everything goes well, we will probably entrol for it.

As for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I'll be leaving it aside for the time being. I'm kinda worry about my studies as this semester is a roller coast ride on thin air and I'm all alone on this ride. I'll just have to see how it goes.

Part II of 新年快乐

Vietnam a country that has survived over 100 years of civil war. Leaving the country in destruction, despair and making it one of the poorest country in south-east Asia till date.

Vietnam war or also known as the second indochina war which started in 1959 till 1975. The war was fought between the communist North Vietnam (supported by China, North Korea and the Soviet Union) and South Vietnam (supported by the United States and several other countries) leaving more than 4 million Vietnamese, 2 million Laotians and Cambodians, and 58,159 U.S. soldiers dead.

But the most significant is the story of "My Lai" Massacre in March 16, 1968 where American Soldiers mass murder close to 500 unarmed civilian ranging from womens to childrens of all ages, wiping out an entire village and raping the womens. But out of the 46 American soldier charged of criminal offences, only William Calley is charge of war crimes and was sentences to a life-time in prison but was release 3 days after his conviction.

Basically, war only brings more pain and misery. But like all countries, there are trouble times in history and there are time of peaces. Vietnam is one such country, and it is their time to pull themselves together to build a stronger and better nation.

I'll post some photos of my trip in Vietnam. But I'll not post anything regarding about the Vietnam war. If you're interested just search Vietnam or Vietcong on google or youtube for more information.

Part I of 新年快乐

今天已经是初九了，时光不留人。As it seems I've just came back from Vietnam which ends my 8 days tour through out China and Vietnam. China is no longer the country I've visited 10 years ago, much has change and the chinese has progress a long way to reach to where they were now.

Through out my 8 days traveling in China, I've visited places like 桂林, 阳朔 和 南宁。They are all cities of Guang Xi. But the most memoriable part in China was the trip to the 龙胜 和 “印象刘三姐”。龙胜 provides me a glimpse of how 当地少数民族 celebrate their 农历新年。But it also portrayed the harsh conditions the local villagers has to cope with every day. Knowing that the chinese government are trying all means to aid these 当地少数民族 by bring tourism and supplies to their area, makes me feel that the prospects ahead for these villagers might still be visible.

“印象刘三姐” was one of the most stunning and beautiful performance I've ever seen, other than Olympics 2008 open ceremony which was directed by the same director “张艺谋” or Zhang Yimou。I could say “印象刘三姐” was the smaller version of Olympic 2008, but still it never fails to amaze me with what the chinese are capable of. China really deserves to be what it is today.

As for my trip in Vietnam I'll be writting it in Part II of 新年快乐...and I'll be writting the remaining section of these blog entry in chinese.

宝贝听说你的病情已经好很多了，我也为你开心因为那也表示你半夜不在会那么痛了。我也没那么操心了。不到十日我们又能再见面了，到时候我便能再次照顾你了。我是因为见不到你所以会天天为你操心和担心。希望你早日康复。。。你听到了吗？到时我们再次吃nandos, 但是peri chips我吃！哈哈哈！我爱你！还有我也越来越喜欢中国了，真的是让我感兴趣。改次我们一起去玩好吗？呵呵！
