Well okie I'm back in Singapore. Guess that I've not inform most of my buddies, due to the fact I've some loose end to tie. But I'll be going back to Brisbane for another 1 and a 1/2 years for my Masters program and I'm trying really hard to adapt back to being a Singaporean or maybe I've been soaking too much of Aussies slow paces lifestyle.
Well update you guys on what I've been doing for the past 5 - 6 months in Australia. Life in Australia is as you would have guess is pretty slow. If you intend to visit Australia, their beaches are one of the best in the world and places like Gold Coast and Sun Shine Coast are a must visit locations for their beaches. Fine sand and beautiful sunsets are some of the things Australia's beaches has to offer. Well I'm gotta tag a couple of pictures on my blog, just have a look and you would get a rough idea on how it would look like.
I'll be staying in Singapore for another 2 months before going back to Australia, for the time being it would be the usual stuff. Muaythai! Muaythai! and more Muaythai. But next year I'll be taking on something unique and thats "Gracie Jiu Jitsu" aka Brazillian Jiu Jitsu. I'm seriously thinking of covering some ground techniques so as to be able to hand a fight when it comes to the ground.
Oh and did I mention that my girlfriend would be visiting me in January? for those guys whom has no idea that I've got a girlfriend well its time for you all to know about it.
Australia is a great place to spend your retirement but still nothing beats home "Singapore", a place where I'm born and where all my loves one were... Still I love Singapore as it is, but with the gradually growing of expenses and politics. It has become a place where our wealth and our rights doesn't belongs to us. I would prefer a country where "The people should not be afraid of the government, but instead the government should be afraid of the people."
Recently, a housemate of mine has decide to shift out and for the next 2 months more housemates will be moving out. I'm feeling kinda upset knowing that we will be seperated, with the house being more and more quiet as each of us began leaving the house. Nonetheless, chinese has a saying " 世上没有不闪的宴席“. If we're fated to meet, we will meet again.
I'll be shifting from this house with "维雄", will start looking for a new lodging when its around August. Probably will contacts some of housemates that has shifted out and decide if it is possible to find a reasonable lodging location. If it is possible will start looking for an apartment with a budget of around AU$110 - AU$150 that is around zone 2 - 3. Else, I'll be sticking back to Sunnybank.
It is 0100 hours in Australia, Queenland and I'm having a major exam today at 1330 hours. But I'm just sick of studying... Guess tonight I would have to burn some mid-night oils. Anyway, I've to onces again thanks Felicia Chin for tagging my blog, I'm kinda glad and surprise she remembers me. Its kinda of like a motivation for me whom is so far from Singapore to be touch by a local actress that still remembers me. Thanks again Felicia! ;P
PS: Official website of Felicia Chin blog (http://feliciasrainbow.blogspot.com/) It has been 5 years since a good brother of mine passed away from a heart failure. I could still remember the look of his face, filled with pain and agorny. But somehow I could feel that he was relieve that everything had ended... No more pain, no more burden for his family. I remember that before he passed away, he told his dad to live strong and that if anything was to happen to him just look at the bright side of life.
Thinking back at those days when we often chill out together, doing childish yet meaningful things. Even till the day he know that he is going to die, he continue to kept his spirit high by joking with us about how life and death should be. I respect him for the way he looks at things in life and how I wish I could be as forgiving as him.
Now 5 years has past... I've no idea who still remember him as a friend. But one thing I'm pretty sure of... He has touch the hearts and change the life of those that cared for him and remember him. I always tell myself that "That god hasn't gave him the opportunity to live his life to the fullest, and that since god gave us such a chance we must not waste it..."
Maybe because of him, I've seen things differently and do everything with an objective behind it... I bet everyone out there has lost someone he or her treasured deeply as a friend or a family member. I'm just thinking that if there was a day that an unfortunate event happen to me... will anyone still remembers me when I gone? I delicate this song to you "Ling Kang" my friend... See you on the other end of life...
PS: If you guys want the song, just rip it off my blog in the "Uploading now..." section.
Gosh! I couldn't imagine that I'll be able to make it back on time to KL to watch "International Muaythai Superfight" and the best part of all is I'm going to watch it for FREE! Thanks to GEO (aka my "BXG" awsome sparring bro) whom helped me to pull-some strings to go watch it for free (Geo! I owe you a meal!) I miss the guys from BXG especially, Geo, Joy, and Joe.
Things-To-Do in Singapore:
1st - Slice the bags and some quality training at BXG 2nd - Watch "International Muaythai Superfight" 3rd - Chill out with the "8SAB" guys from camp... 4th - Bang the Woodland brothers "Mr Boon" and "Ah Xiong" 5th - Wine drinking session with my pri sch buddy "Bao Hua". 6th - Trial BBJ @ Alive.SG (Optional)
But before doing all those... I would want to sit down with my family and have a heartwarming dinner with them and after that have a refreshing bath.
Last and not least, I came across 李圣杰- 擦肩而过 MTV at a Hongkong Tea Cafe. I feel the song quite meaningful so I went to search for it. Guess most of the guys or girls out there would have probably heard before. I was think that if a certain the line in the lyric would have been change to 好的男人有那么多, 为何你就选他。。。而不是我?wouldn't be better, don't you guys think so...?
Seems like the Yodsaenklai "The Computer Wizard" Fairtex will be fighting fellow country man Malaipet "The Diamond" this coming 28th June at Jamaica for the World Boxing Council Middleweight Championship Title. Yodsaenklai "The Computer Wizard" is renowned through out the world for his amazing left kick that is known to have knock-out tons of world class fighters and his lighting fast counter punches. But will his style of fighting stands against Malaipet "The Diamond". The nick name "The Diamond" is only given to fighters whom have trained themselves to an extend that their muaythai are near perfection or flawless. Stay Tuned!
